See you at the Fair?

The Irish Fair of Minnesota --- the nation's largest FREE celebration of all things Irish --- kicks off tomorrow on Harriet Island in downtown Saint Paul, and we'll be there on Saturday, August 8. Please join us! We'll be performing twice:

Pub Tent, 4:30 - 5 pm
River Stage (Right on the Mighty Mississippi!), 6 - 7 pm

We'll also be in the Marketplace:
New Folk Records booth, 2:30 - 3 pm
Celtic Journeys booth, 3:15 - 3:34 pm

There is so much to do! And not enough time!

The national and international acts performing include The Young Dubliners, The Screaming Orphans, Socks in the Frying Pan, and many more! And the line up also includes local favorites The Sweet Colleens, The Tim Malloys, The Northerly Gaels (with our pal, Jimmy the Piper!), Tom Dahill & Ginny Johnson, Patsy O'Brien, the Wild Colonial Bhoys and others.

There's also sheepherding demonstrations, Irish hounds (the four-legged kind), sports (hurling, rugby, soccer), dancing (performances and participatory Ceilis), traditional music sessions and performances, readings and poetry, Irish history and culture, a special children's area with lots of fun activities, shopping, eating, drinking (Drink Like You Care!), and of course, Pipers! Lots and lots of pipers! And if you want to take a break and enjoy some laughs, you can watch "The Irish Pub" film on the Celtic Journeys showboat (we highly recommend you don't miss this).

And not only is the Irish Fair free, but so is getting there! Check out how you can take advantage of the Irish Fair's partnership with Metro Transit and the Union Depot here!

We'll see you at the Fair!
